Billy Murphy’s Irish Saloon. Despite this being $4 burger Tuesday, I went for the pig wings in hot Buffalo sauce. I’ll have to remember the Sunday specials on those. Pork shanks, slow roasted until tender, then flash fried and sauced before serving. Hand cut fries are fresh too! This is a serious dive bar in a neighborhood with no other reason to be there. It was not busy, but had a friendly bartender and patrons. The pig wings are reason enough to make a trip to East Falls. They are perfect for the Atkins diet (or the modified version to which I adhere, which also allows unlimited carbs.)
