Dry fry pork at Han Dynasty in Manayunk…amped up to a spice level of 8. They have about 10 lunch entrées, most at 8 bucks (10 for fish.) They are not all inherently spicy, but they will adjust by request. They are never busy at lunch. So you don’t get a bland wonton soup and greasy cabbage egg roll.. A nice fresh single dish on rice that brings tears to your eyes. What more does one need for lunch?

Sometimes a bowl of noodles is all you need on a late Autumn day…..especially if they are DAN DAN noodles. Nobody makes them like Han… and the Manayunk kitchen does them better than Olde City.
Fried fish with dry pepper is a delicious $9.95 lunch special. The fish is ALWAYS crispy, and never greasy. One of my favorites.
