We decided to give Brick and Brew in Havertown another shot. Last time we were there, my buttermilk chicken was over-salted, and wife’s short rib was more or less pulverized. They redeemed themselves today. The B&B burger is made with dry-aged beef (and tastes like it.) This is as good as burger meat can get. I ordered medium rare, and got more or less medium, but it was still a hell of a burger. In gastropub fashion, they used a non-standard (Muenster) cheese which worked, though I don’t find it a great “melty” cheese. Fries were hand cut fresh, and excellent as always. Their house-made ketchup was tangy (and served in an antique-looking clear bottle.. no ramekins.) Wife had a crab cake PLT (pancetta, lettuce and tomato) which she loved. Service was excellent and friendly. there were no tables at 1:00 so we sat at the bar. Nice selection of unique beers, and everything was reasonably priced for the quality. http://bricknbrewpub.com/
