The wife was feeling flu-ish, and is not a huge fan of matzoh-ball soup, so I got her a bowl of mish-mash chicken broth with rice, bowties and a kreplach. I’m not a big fan of soup for lunch (except Pho) so I went for a roast beef and Muenster. Not a cheap sammie at $12, but nobody can say Hymie’s skimps. Nice and rare, freshly sliced. They make a hell of a deli sandwich.

This is a serious old-school Jewish deli.  Don’t miss the pickle bar.
